Morgan & Thornburg, Inc. approaches each project with the same construction philosophy that has allowed our firm to succeed in the Mechanical Construction ( HVAC Systems Sheetmetal Fabrication, Piping System, Process Piping, Plumbing Services ) and Service Solutions ( HVAC Diagnostic and Repair, Maintenance Contracts, Service Calls ) business for a combination of over fifty years. We have a management and construction staff to accommodate any size project with full technical and managerial support from our main offices to complete the project with the construction schedule as our top priority.

Wes Thornburg

President & Co-Founder

With over 40 years of experience, Wes is an expert in his field of Mechanical Contracting. Having been the co-founder of Morgan & Thornburg, Inc., he strives to achieve perfection in every project completed. Wes is a Christian Brothers College graduate with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Steve Thornburg

Vice President

Steve oversees the day‑to‑day operations of Morgan & Thornburg, Inc. As Vice President of Operations, he coordinates all estimating and marketing efforts, ensuring projects are both competitively quoted and flawlessly executed. With five decades of experience, Steve’s strategic vision and operational expertise drive our ongoing commitment to quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.

Randy Thornburg

Vice President of Operations
With over 35 years of experience, 15 years as a Pipefitter Foreman and 20 years as Field Operations Manager, Randy Thornburg effortlessly maintains a labor force of 250 to 500 union workers trades such as Pipe Fitting, Sheet Metal Mechanics, and Plumbers.

Kathy Thornburg

Retired
Kathy Thornburg brings decades of leadership to Morgan & Thornburg, Inc. A licensed professional in Mechanical, Plumbing, HVAC, and Gas systems at the state level, Kathy has overseen hundreds of successful projects. Now enjoying a well‑deserved retirement, Kathy remains a valued mentor and source of institutional knowledge for the team.

Bobby Brewer

Bobby Brewer brings a detail-oriented and cost-conscious approach to procurement in his role as Construction Purchaser. He is responsible for sourcing materials, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring that every purchase aligns with project budgets and timelines. Bobby works closely with project managers, field teams, and suppliers to keep construction operations running smoothly and efficiently.

Jack Blurton

Jack Blurton serves as a Service Coordinator at Morgan & Thornburg, where he plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of HVAC service operations. With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence, Jack manages scheduling, coordinates with technicians, and liaises with clients to deliver timely and efficient service solutions. His dedication to operational efficiency and customer satisfaction makes him an integral part of the Morgan & Thornburg team.

Jamie Huey

As a dedicated member of the Accounts Payable team, Jamie helps ensure that financial operations run smoothly and vendors are paid accurately and on time. With a strong eye for detail and a commitment to consistency, she is responsible for processing invoices, managing payment schedules, reconciling accounts, and supporting the overall financial workflow.

Jeff Thornburg

Jeff Thornburg is a seasoned Construction Project Manager with extensive experience overseeing complex building projects from inception to completion. Known for his meticulous attention to detail and strong leadership skills, Jeff ensures that every project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. His collaborative approach and deep understanding of construction processes make him an invaluable asset to any construction team.

Jennifer Martin

Jennifer Martin is the dedicated Safety Coordinator at Morgan & Thornburg, Inc. Jennifer holds certifications in OSHA standards, CPR/First Aid, and Hazardous Materials Handling. She develops and delivers tailored training programs, conducts thorough site inspections, and implements proactive safety protocols to ensure every team member returns home safely each day. Jennifer collaborates closely with project managers, field crews, and external agencies to stay ahead of evolving regulations and best practices.

Lauren Hayes

As a valued member of the HVAC Service Accounting team, Lauren helps keep financial operations running smoothly and efficiently behind the scenes. From processing invoices and managing work orders to tracking job costs and supporting the service department, she plays a key role in making sure the numbers line up and the workflow stays on track.

Lawrence McCoy

As Sheetmetal Shop Superintendent at Morgan & Thornburg, Inc., Wayne McCoy brings specialized experience in fabricating, installing, and managing complex sheetmetal systems. Wayne oversees the shop’s daily operations—from workflow scheduling and quality control to equipment maintenance and safety compliance. A hands‑on leader, he coordinate closely with project managers, field technicians, and the design team to ensure that every component meets exacting specifications and delivery timelines.

Natalie Hayes

With over 25 years of experience in accounting and office management, Natalie brings a steady hand and a wealth of knowledge to the day-to-day operations that keep businesses running smoothly. Known for her attention to detail, reliability, and ability to wear many hats, Natalie ensures that everything from payroll and invoicing to vendor management and internal processes is handled with efficiency and care.

Natalee Crafton

Natalee specializes in the financial operations that keep the service team running smoothly and efficiently for over 15 years. As HVAC Service Accounting Manager, she is responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting functions, job costing, billing, and financial reporting—ensuring accuracy, transparency, and accountability at every level.

Nicholas Thornburg

With over 15 years of experience in financial leadership and legal advisory, Nick brings a unique dual perspective to business strategy and operations. As Controller and In-House Counsel, he oversees financial management, compliance, and risk mitigation while providing strategic legal guidance across corporate functions.

Philip Burkhalter

Philip brings deep technical knowledge and unmatched attention to detail to the role of Submittal Coordinator. He specializes in managing the complex documentation process that ensures HVAC systems meet project specifications, code requirements, and client expectations. With over 35 years of experience, he is an extremely valued member of the team.

Ray Thornburg

With over 25 years of experience in estimating and construction planning, Ray brings unmatched expertise and insight to every project. As Lead Project Estimator, he is responsible for analyzing plans, identifying costs, and delivering accurate, competitive bids that lay the foundation for successful projects.
